We also got some gift certificates for restaurants we like to eat at and a lot of cards. We went to dinner at our favorite restaurant. After dinner we went to visit mom at the hospital. Crust ~ I make 2 batches of 2 layer pie crusts or I use 2 Pillsbury pie crusts in the box. Roll out one crust and put it in a greased 9x13 pan. Pour in the warm filling. Cut the 2nd pie crust into strips and cover the top. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 - 40 min. or until golden brown.
This is a very busy weekend as we have said already. Laurie has to work all weekend so we won't be able to visit too many blogs. We hope you all have a great weekend and a nice Mother's Day!
