New Garden!

We gave you a little gardening break the past couple days since that is all we posted about last week, but over the weekend Chris and I planted the new garden with our old plants. You can check out how we got to this point by clicking HERE and HERE.

We moved the Spiderwort from the back garden. Everything else was planted in the garden that the city ruined.

Planted against the deck are two different kinds of Iris's. In front of them are 2 Sedum, Columbine, Coral Bells, Violets, Statice and 2 Lavender plants.

Almost everything that is planted in this garden is purple, pink or white. We think it should look really nice when everything blooms again. We have been getting some rain the past few days, so that helps with watering. When Chris dug up everything from the front garden, he left pretty good size root balls, so we didn't lose a whole lot. We still have some plants that need planted, but I have been put on a deadline to finish something up. We will be posting about some special projects soon.

It's wonderful that almost all your plants were able to be transplanted into their new home! It looks great and I've no doubt the flowers will be blooming in no time:-) My front flowerbeds are looking a bit squeezed in, I think I planted too many things in it! lol xox

Sounds like lots of work, but the results will be so worth it. I know you get a lot of pleasure from your garden.

This looks fantastic! It's quite the neat look, bordering the deck like that :)

I like the garden space - and the rocks lining it. Can't wait to see everything in bloom - sounds like a beautiful combo of plants.
