Chris and I went to get a load of topsoil today. There is a place not too far from our house that will load your truck for you with freshly screened topsoil. It really doesn't cost much. We got a truck full and it only cost us $20.00.
The truck was squatting a little, but we made it home just fine.
Doesn't it look like a fun time:)Mom and I went to a Secret Garden Tour today that was sponsored by our local Audubon Center & Sanctuary. I will be telling you more about it and showing you lots of pictures starting on Monday.
Look what Chris did while we were gone. It looks so nice. He did a great job. Look at how straight those rocks are!!
He also worked on the new garden.

The garden sure looks different without the tree.
When Chris and I got home, we planted primroses in the new garden around the birdbath.
We are going to make dinner now and plop down in front of the TV to watch the race.

Can't believe the tree is gone. The side garden will not look the same...but I know that Jean will make it look wonderful just the same.

Your new garden space is very nice - it will be fun to watch it mature. I love garden spaces outlined with rocks like that.
Chris, you did a great job. I've never seen a straighter line with rocks (and I know that's hard to do!). Can't wait to see what you plant.
