Thank You / Yum-O!

We received the "I Love Your Blog" Award from Racquel at The Perennial Garden Lover. Thank You so much for giving us this award and for all of the great comments you leave us.
Now the rules state that we must chose seven bloggers whose blog we also love... then pass this award along to them. It is difficult to select just 7 since we have so many blogs that we enjoy visiting.
Our recipients are:
Utah Grammie from "Main Street Memories"
Leesa from "Peace Of My Mind"
Melissa from "Those Northern Skies"
Pea from "Pea's Corner"
Lallee from "Lallee's Cottage"

We would also like to share an easy pie recipe with you that Chris' Mom shared with us. This was what we brought to our Labor Day picnic at Laurie's Mom's house.

Sinful Pie

Doesn't it look yummy?

1/4 C. butter

2/3 C. of pecans

1--7 oz. bag of coconut

8 oz. cream cheese

1 can eagle brand milk

16 oz. cool whip

2 graham cracker or Oreo pie crusts

1/2 jar caramel topping

Melt butter in a skillet. saute pecans and coconut until lightly browned. Blend together cream cheese and eagle brand milk. Fold in cool whip. Pre bake crusts for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Layer whipped mixture, nut mixture and caramel in pie crusts, saving some of nut mixture and caramel for tops of pies. Refrigerate for 4 hours or can be frozen. We prefer them frozen.

Oh, thank you Sweetie! How thoughtful of you! The pie looks, ah, AMAZING..maybe for Mr. B or if I decide to use ALL my silly WW points in one day! I think I'll send it to my skinny-WW leader of a sister. Ha!
Have a fun week and looking forward to what I know will be BEAUTIFUL fall photos!

Oh, thank you for the award, Laurie and Chris! How generous of you to honour me in this way. I'm sorry I missed catching up with you until today. Our new grandson has kind of distracted us for the last week :))

Have a lovely weekend! Perhaps you'll take another drive and share some great pictures again :))
