Bloomin' Tuesday!

This Cleome/Spider Flower was out in front of the visitors center at Letchworth. I had to get a couple of pictures.

There were some Lavender plants mixed in with them. It looked very pretty.

Here are a couple of close ups for you!!

Last week we posted about Indian Peace Pipe/Ghost Plant.

We saw more at Letchworth. These ones seem to be a little pinker. If you missed our post about this plant you can click HERE.

It seems whenever I go anywhere I always look for flowers so that I have a blog to post for Bloomin' Tuesday. I see you did the same thing when you went to Letchworth. The stone background really makes those flowers stand out.

Very beautiful! I bought a cleome at a yard sale one year, but unfortunately it didn't make it. After seeing these, I sure wish I'd taken better care of it.

I didn't know cleome and lavendar could grow in the same dirt! Cool, beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing the ghost plant last week, after I thought about it, I do remember seeing these in the woods and wondering why they were so white. Great share!

The "ghost plant" is awesome, love the color on it. My daughter owns the nursery at my store. I'm going to see if she can find them out here.

The cleome looks super in a large area like that. Love the stone wall background. Mom

Cleome is one of those plants that has never thrived for me.

We did have native Pinesaps on the property, a another chlorophyll-less relative of Ghost Plant.
