Kim, Tabatha, Baby J., Chris and I went to my Dad and Sharon's last night for his birthday party. We brought pizza and wings and Sharon baked a cake.
Chris and I gave Dad a wheelbarrow for his birthday. While the guys were putting it together, Baby J. decided to steal the box that some of the parts came in.
Grandpa thought it was so funny that she just sat in the box and played with her toys. She played and played and played with the flaps on the box. She concentrated on the tape and tried so hard to pull it off. Her mommy pulled her around the yard also, and she really enjoyed that too.
While packing our cars up to get ready to leave, this little guy came out of the woods by Dads house. It is a buck born last spring. It has 2 spikes showing. We were surprised to see that it is in velvet already. It stood there and watched us while it ate, until a dog chased it off.

We need to quit buying her toys. Just give her tags and boxes! Mom
Isn't that always the way it is...they'd rather play with the box than the toy! lol Happy belated Birthday to your dad...sounds like he had a great day and that new wheelbarrow looks pretty spiffy:-) What a gorgeous deer you got to see! xox
It's me again...I just read the comment you left on my blog...I didn't realize you lived so near Niagara Falls? We're planning on going back probably around the first week of July and maybe we could plan to meet a bunch of bloggers at that time!! Will let you know!! xox
Boxes are always a great toy. I can remember riding around in a wheelbarrow that my grandpa pushed when I was about 3 or 4!
:)
Cute photos - looks like Baby J had a great time at the party! The photos of the deer are awesome.
Oh I love the deer pictures! What a beautiful place to live for your dad with deers coming to the garden!
A very happy belated birthday to your dad! Those photos of him with Baby J are really precious :)
How lucky to see the deer and that it was so unafraid. The photos are awesome.
