If you are from our area then you will truly understand why my husband did this. (maybe)
Johnny's sauce and hot dogs

Our Purple Coneflowers (Echinacea) have started blooming this week. We have taken pictures of them at several stages.

Since there was an embankment and a barb wire fence, we didn't get very close. (I know we are bloggers and should have jumped the fence on to posted property)
I took quite a few pictures hoping something would turn out. Being that we were so far away, not many came out very clear.
We searched the area and the surrounding area last year because we heard that there were eagles nests around. We never did find them last year.
We went back today with our tripod to see if they were still there but didn't have any luck finding them again. Those of you that visit our blog often may remember 2 posts that we did back in April and May. A friend told us about 2 eagles he had been watching. They turned out to be Osprey. We got the real thing this time.
We have visited the museum twice out of the 4 times we have gone to the Adirondacks. It took us the whole day to tour the museum each time we went.
There are countless informational exhibits that teach about the history of the Adirondacks.

We have 3 different colors this year.
This is a mini-rose and a still bee.

We paid more for our mulch this time than we have ever paid. Chris had them fill his 8 foot bed up. It was piled up to the roof of the truck. When he went to pay they said it was $80.00.
We worked in the yard for 6 hours yesterday.
