A Time Out Chair!

We took these pictures in the fall when we were in the Adirondacks. We were out in front of the Adirondack Museum.

We have visited the museum twice out of the 4 times we have gone to the Adirondacks. It took us the whole day to tour the museum each time we went.

There are countless informational exhibits that teach about the history of the Adirondacks.

Have any of you ever visited the museum?

I've never been - but I'd like to go :)) The chair would be perfect for a big family photo!

Your garden is just gorgeous! Thanks for always sharing beautiful pictures of it.

We went to Blue Mt. Lake on our Honeymoon and went to the museum then.
Two years later we were proud owners of an Adirondack Cabin of our own! I have always wanted to go back to the Museum but haven't yet.

I would love to go there for a visit. That chair is hilarious! Reminds me of Saturday Night Live with Rosanne Rosana Dan, in that huge chair. You're probably to young to remember that. It was funny.

I've been at the museum many times. My friend Kathy's dad was the one of stone masons when the original building was built. He had to "audition" with his work to get the job. Her uncle did some of the "twigging" work in one of the exhibits. It's well done. Anyone visiting the Adirondacks should do that as well as the Natural History Museum (the Wild Center) in Tupper Lake.

LOL It made me think of Edith Ann on Laugh In. I think that would be an interesting museum to visit.
