I'm Living With A College Student!

As many of you know Chris has been laid off since July. The company he worked for was bought out and everything sounded great. Well not so much. I am very thankful he was laid off when he was. He got laid off 1 week before my father passed away. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have Chris with me for everything we went through during that time.

After being out of school for 20 years Chris got a great opportunity to go to college. His work has a special program and college is paid for through them. Chris looked into it and is now a full time college student. He is taking 2 welding classes, Math and English this semester.

This picture is of welding he has done. One is MIG Welding and the other is TIG Welding. He seems to be enjoying his classes. I am very proud to be living with a college student!!

My husband started out as a Welder/Fabricator and is now a Shop Supervisor. If Chris has an artistic side, freelance work is great... metal sculptures, one of a kind gates, rails, arbors, the sky is the limit.
Best of luck!

When one door closes..yep, school opens!! This is awesome- I love to hear about people who can turn a potentially bad thing into a great future- hats off to you BOTH!
