Build Me A Fort Please!!

We had Jerzie for a few hours Saturday night while Mommy and Daddy had their Halloween party and Grandma worked. Aunt Laurie thought it would be fun to build a small fort for Jerzie to play in.

When we were younger, we used to build forts in our living room all the time. Sometimes we would even have sleep overs in them.

Jerzie seemed to have a good time playing in the fort. She made Uncle Chris and Aunt Laurie crawl through it over and over again. Just to hear her giggling cracked us both up.

When I was behind Jerzie trying to get picture of her, Chris told me to come to the other side to get a picture of how she was laying.

I'm sure glad I listened to Chris. I just love both of these pictures of Jerzie. She looks so innocent.

Jerzie had me laughing so hard on Saturday that I was crying. The more she looked at me the harder I laughed and cried. The look on her face was like what is wrong Aunt Laurie.

Building forts is a time honored tradition here. I wonder who was having more fun?? Your pictures are precious-worthy of framing.

I can relate...my niece can make me so happy, I cry. That fort brings back so many childhood memories...you sound like a fun aunt and uncle.

This brought back great memories. My sister and I used to play under the dining room table and build forts under blankets too. Thanks for the memories. Jerzie is such a cutie! :-)

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful little girl! Worth framing as Chirstmas present for her Mom and Dad!! I remember building forts when I was little and it was something I did with my kids but I didn't think to take any pictures of them. glad you did!!
