Bloomin' Tuesday!

We thought we would share these lily pads with you this week. While driving to my brothers softball game a few weeks ago I saw these lily pads on the side of the road but didn't stop because I was alone. I told Chris about them the other day when he brought me lunch and we went to take pictures of them.

They are on a pretty busy street, so we had to find a pull off. People probably thought we had lost our minds taking pictures on the side of the road. But look how pretty they are.

Click on the pictures to enlarge them.
The centers of the flowers are amazing.

We had a couple of visitors while we were taking the pictures. Here is one we got a picture of. We heard lots of toads jumping into the water when we got too close.

Check out the pink lily pads we took picture of HERE.

Laurie, how wonderful to find a hidden 'garden'. If people thought you were nuts-too bad for they have missed a beautiful sight. And of course that dragonfly is just precious! Just goes to show if we keep our eyes open there is beauty all around!

These are the best so far today. The Lily Pad is trully an amazing plant. I would really like the pink ones in my little pond. Great photo of the dragon fly. Hugs, Rose

Great photos. It's interesting that there were just at the side of the road. For some reason, I thought lilly pads took meticulous care. Obviously they'll grow just fine by themselves!

LOVE the dragonfly picture! How very appropriate for your blog! I have some dragonfly earrings, and every time I wear them I get tons of compliments! The lilypad pictures are beautiful, too! Thank you for stopping by to comment on my Bloomin' Tuesday.
