Bloomin' Tuesday #2

One of the good things about working at Walmart is that most of the time when we have a sale I know what is going to be on sale and can buy it if I really want it. Last week they had 3" potted tulips for .60 cents each, so a flat of 18 was only $10.80. I had to buy one for me and one for mom. Here are some pictures of the ones that are open so far. I haven't planted too many tulips in my gardens, so I think these will be a nice sign of spring for years to come.

I really love Tulips - they symbolize Spring to me...they are so fleeting though. Wish they'd decide to stay longer. You got a real-deal! Good for you! Have a great Bloomin' Tuesday!

I've only grown tulips twice in my life. They were beautiful, but very small. Your sale tulips are wonderful, and such a good buy!

Tulips are my favorite Spring flower. I start buying bouquets at the market after the new year and that keeps me happy until mine come up in the garden. I read in one of your other posts that you use a Neti Pot. I started using one in January when I had a horrible cold and I now use it 2-3 time a week.....I swear by them.

Love the tulips with the light outside and red inside. Beautiful! Thanks for posting for Bloomin' Tuesday!

Definitely a great purchase!

We live in the woods and so I don't plant them because the critters keep lopping of their heads just when they are beginning to bloom!

Every once in a wild some of the old bulbs I did plant will sneak a bloom through and it always makes me smile.

Thanks for sharing yours with me :-) Rosie

I love tulips but I don't have any in my own yard! Happy Bloomin' Tuesday!
