One Last Visit!

We had Chris's dad and mom over this afternoon to show them the presents that we got for Christmas and for them to see our decorations before we take them down this week. They came over at 1:00 and stayed until a little after 4:00. We enjoyed spending the time together visiting with them.

We had a cheese and cracker tray and had to make dads favorite.....

......Monkey Bread.

It is really easy to make and tastes so good.

Here is the recipe for anyone that wants to try it.

3 small rolls of biscuits

1 Cup of sugar

4 tsp. of cinnamon

1 Stick of butter

Mix the sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Open the biscuits and cut each one into 4 pieces. Roll each biscuit piece in the cinnamon and sugar mixture and then put into a greased Bundt pan. Melt the stick of butter in a small sauce pan and add the remaining cinnamon and sugar. Bring to a boil stirring often. Pour the mixture evenly over the top of the biscuit pieces and bake for 30 minutes at 350. Carefully flip the cooked Monkey Bread onto a platter. Let cool for a couple of minutes and then start pulling it apart to eat.

Enjoy!!!

Wonderful, icy photo at the beginning of your blog- I thought the ICE Queen would be popping out any minute and then...I saw the Monkey Bread...which I have not had for a long time. Your blog was inspiring and fun to me tonight! Thank you.
