My father-in-law picked on me yesterday because I even found flowers to take pictures of at the yard waste dump.
I had to climb to the top of a mulch pile to take them, but I think it was worth it.
I even thought about pulling one out to take home with me but I wasn't brave enough to do it with all of the people around.
This is why I even bring my camera to the dump with me.
We hope everyone has a great Green Thumb Sunday. Thanks for visiting.

I think taking your camera to the dump may be bordering on obsessive, great pictures though, the top one reminds me of one of the pictures in the Wiggly collection.
Cheers Mark
Very pretty...I've just started to carry my camera everywhere again...
:)
Hi Chris & Laurie,

I love sunflowers no matter where you find them!
I agree with you - the camera goes everywhere!! These are such happy pictures - thanks for sharing them!!
A true blogger carries their camera EVERYWHERE!!! hehe I so love sunflowers, you can't help but smile when you see one. Such beautiful shots you got of these! xox
As you know, I love sunflowers. I think my favorite photo is the last one because it shows exactly where you are...I love photos with a developed sense of place.
Your nieces cammo outfit is sweet...gotta love how nieces won't cooperate. My niece Gracie wouldn't talk to me on the phone last night :( she is fifteen months.
Neat pics of lovely sunflowers! So you were right in bringing your camera! I'm still forgetting to bring mine on many an occasion but I'm improving; one day my camera and I will be inseperable. ;-)
Wonder who is beautifying the dump? The squirrels?
Great pics.
That's the prettiest dump I've ever seen ;-)
I love these photos - especially the yellow sunflowers against the blue sky - great! I love seeing flowers in unexpected places - very fun. Glad you had your camera!
Wish my town dump looked like that! Guess I'll have to do some "guerilla gardening" and toss a few seeds around there myself ;-)Nice pics, too....my camera goes everywhere with me, too!
