Venting !!!

I would like to tell you how sick we are of seeing these signs on our way to and from work. I think just on the way to Wal*mart there are at least 5 different streets torn up.

Also sick of THESE!!

This is what it looks like when I try to come home from work. This is the street that Wal*mart is on.

All pictures are taken through the front window as I am stopped in traffic at a red light or pulled over in a parking lot.

Do you see all of those cones?
Why do we have to do so many jobs at once?
Can't we finish one first and then start another?
This is the main street that takes me home. Here they are taking off the pavement to resurface the road. This goes on for miles.
This is the road that I used to turn up to get to our street. Can't do it another road closed!!

So I went to the next street. Guess what? This street is closed also. How am I going to get home? I used to get home in 15 min. Now it takes almost 30. Really, I just want to go HOME after working all day!!

This is at the end of our road. Chris can't get through to get to work. One day he drove a different way and the gas company had another street blocked off. He was almost late for work because of it.

By the way since I am complaining today, we still don't have grass where the wonderful city workers tore up our garden and lawn at the beginning of SPRING!!!

Yup, it's like that around here too...there is ALWAYS some type of road construction going on and yet our roads never seem to get better! We're considered pothole city here! Ugh! Guess what I had in the mail today....yessss, the wonderful seeds you sent me!! Thank you so much Chris & Laurie, they are very much appreciated and I love the little packets you made to put the seeds in and the lovely card:-) xox

These could almost be pictures of our small town...they do get busy during the summer because winters are so harsh, does that help?

I thought this only happened in Minnesota! lol. It is frustrating when they're working on EVERY SINGLE ROAD, isn't it?

This happens here in Georgia as well. It seems whereever you turn there is another street under construction.. Sometimes I wonder if walking would get me to places quicker.
