New Mulch!

Don't you just love how your gardens look with fresh mulch?
This is our new garden. The flowers we planted here seem to be doing very well.

Here is our rose garden. We got some great blooms this year but it doesn't seem like we got as many as we usually do.

This is the front of the house. You can't tell now but there are 5 Astilbe in this garden.

The ground cover is taking over. I had to pull some of it out this weekend.

Here is our new garden we made for the birdbath. This garden has all Primroses in it. I don't think I will plant anything else there. I will have to wait and see how it looks with just these flowers in it. We have one more garden in the back yard to do but it hasn't stopped raining enough for us to do it. Maybe we can get it done this coming weekend.

I've always found that mulch makes a garden look so much better and cleaner! It all looks wonderful and you both did a great job, I know how much work goes into putting in mulch like that!! It was a perfect idea to make a little garden for the birdbath...just gorgeous! xox

I always think mulch freshens everything so nicely. The birds should love that birdbath!

Very nice! How is the area where the work was being done? Are they all done yet?

Yup, fresh mulch always freshens things up! Your gardens all look great - won't it be fun to look at these photos next year and see how much they've filled in!
