Did You Figure It Out?

So, What are they?

They are Pumpkin Flower Pancakes. It is an old family recipe that Chris's mom still makes every year.


They are made with the flowers off of the pumpkin plants and a batter that they are dipped in.

Then they are fried in a little bit of oil in a skillet. Once they come out of the pan they are put on a plate with a paper towel to soak up any extra oil. A little salt is added before eating.

Well for goodness sakes, I didn't even know you could eat the flowers off the pumpkin plants!!! See that, I'm never too old to learn something new! lol xox

Pumpkin flower pancakes - those are cool! I never would have guessed. The garlic cloves are unbelieveable.
