Nature Shots!

We were just heading out the door today to go to Allen Park to take some pictures when the phone rang. It was Mom. She had some humming birds visiting her garden. Check her post out HERE. She thought maybe we would want to run down and take a few pictures.
(she thought right:)

Click on pictures to enlarge. We took this shot near the Band Shell at Allen Park. Check out our blog tomorrow to see what we really went there for.

We took this one at moms while waiting for the humming birds.

These 3 didn't come out too bad. We didn't remember to set the camera on high speed shutter, so the wings came out a little blurry.

First of all, Happy Birthday to Jerzie!!! Loved seeing the pictures of her as a baby until now:-) Oh wow, you certainly did get some great shots of the hummer...they are one of the hardest birds to take pictures of because of their fast wing speed! Your pictures are so clear, they make me feel like I should be smelling the flowers and hearing the insects:-) Beautiful!! xox

Oh, I love the hummingbirds - great photos. Isn't it amazing how small they are compared to the monarda bloom? Fun.

love the hummingbird shots. Saw one in my garden, weeks ago, and got some great shots of the tree!
