Green Thumb Sunday!

Click on the blogroll in our sidebar to see other participants.

Here are some close up photos that I took when Mom and I were on our Field Trip this week. If you missed that post please click HERE to see what we did.

I love how bright this flower is. I believe that this is a Coreopsis. (Grandiflora) It wasn't marked so I am not positive on the name.

I am not sure what kind of Iris this is. It was planted so there wasn't a tag to tell me.

I really like Peony's. I don't have any in my gardens but I think they are so pretty. I will have to get some for our next garden.

I thought this planter looked so nice with all the different colored Wave Petunia's in it. It is so full and pretty.

If you look close at this Cranesbill Geranium you can see the veins in the flower.

We hope you had time this weekend to enjoy your gardens.

Thanks for stopping by.

Of all the whisky barrel is my favorite...I said this year I was branching out and not buying any petunia's as you have to dead head so much...but I find they grow really well for me and I don't mind deadheading so much...so that is what I'll stick with next year!
Lovely photo's!

I'm dreaming about next year as I run through the GTS blogroll and get lots of ideas. I love your wide container with the mixed petunia colors.

Just found out you are related to Ms. Green Thumb Jean, who I also enjoy reading. How fortunate you are to share gardening interest, passion and activities!
