Is It Easter?

This bunny appeared in our lawn a couple of weeks ago. It was chillin' in the shade under our bushes in the side yard. It has been back almost every day since then. We think it may have been someones pet at one time. It seems to be pretty tame.
Laurie walked almost right up to it. She was probably 3-4 feet away from it before it ran off.

It lays there and relaxes for quite a while. When ever a car drives by, it ducks down and folds it's ears down. I put some lettuce out for it one night. When it came back the next day, it sat and ate all of the lettuce. It is very cute and fun to watch, as long as it stays out of the flowers.

Awwww what a cute little bunny! Sad if he was someone's pet and now is lost. Hopefully he'll be ok! Keep feeding him lettuce and carrots and he'll leave your flowers alone! lol xox

I never see black rabbits here - he's very pretty. I hope he stays out of your flowers, but very cool that he feels safe with you. I'd guess he'll "adopt" you!

I think you're right that it must've been someone's pet. I believe the wild ones are always brownish.
