Here are some pictures we took on a short trip we took to Allen Park. We try to photograph these trees every spring.

A couple of the trees lean to one side like this one. They must have leaned towards the sun when they were smaller and never straightened back out.
The blooms don't last very long. They seem to be very delicate once they open.
Isn't it amazing how bright pink the buds are, but once the flowers open, you really don't see much of the pink?
Sweet is the air with the budding haws,
and the valley stretching for miles below
Is white with blossoming cherry-trees,
as if just covered with lighted snow.

I find the cherry tree one of the most beautiful fruit trees when their blossoms are all opened. Beautiful pictures as usual!! xox
