Christmas Idea

I made this 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook for my husband for Christmas a few years ago. I didn't put any pictures in it because I thought he would enjoy filling it himself. The album is brown "leather"

These two pages are side by side in the album. The side of the second page says "The thrill of the hunt"

These two pages are also side by side. I put a poem on the second page.

Not just anyone can be a hunter.

It takes a certain kind.

It's not for the squeamish or fearful,

or those with a weak mind.

You've got to have just the right tools

and know just how to use them.

You've got to know the rules,

and never try to abuse them.

Not just anyone can be a hunter.

It requires certain skills,

common sense and patience,

and a hand that is steady and still.

There are many more pages to this album. I will try to show some in a future post.

What a wonderful scrapbook for your hubby...he will have fun putting in the pictures! I tried my hand at scrapbooking for the first time last April...my only niece turned 16 that month and I wanted to make her something special. So, I decided to make her a scrapbook detailing her life from a baby to now...I must say I surprised myself and it turned out beautifully:-) I posted pictures of it on my blog, back in April!
