Finally!

After missing a decent buck during archery season and missing a huge buck the Saturday before last, I finally got a deer for this year. I will still be going out next weekend to see if I can fill my buck tag.

This is one of the biggest doe's I have gotten. We figured it at between 110 - 120 pounds. Not too many people I have talked to have gotten anything this year, and when we took this one to be processed, I was only the 200th deer for the season.

Nice-looking doe; will provide lots of venison by the looks of her. Good luck on the weekend getting the buck.

That's a very big doe,... good for you. Get that frying pan on the stove and cook up those tenderloin slices! Yum! :)
