What was that noise???

Last Saturday while Chris and I were running a few errands we heard this awful noise when he stepped on the brakes. We were hoping something was just sliding around in the back. We turned off the music and the AC and rolled down the windows. Sure enough it was the coming from the back area of the car.

When we got home Chris took the back tire off to see what he could find. He found that the brakes were worn down to the metal. If he changed them now they wouldn't ruin the rotors. So he made some phone calls to see who had them in stock.

We went and got the new brakes. We got home and Chris was all set to change them. Next thing I knew he was back in the house making a phone call. They gave him the wrong brakes. Back to the store he went.

With all of the running around, he got the brakes done in a couple of hours. Thank God he knows how to do all this stuff or we would be in a lot of trouble.

Can you hear me calling "Chris!"... I had my Ford Escape in the garage early this week and $242 later (break job and service) it is still doing the same noise and vibration in the pedal. Next appointment is for Monday. Wish I lived near you,.. I'd rather pay Chris!

Farmboy does the same around here! I don't know what we would do w/o his expertise in many areas! We sure save a lot of $$$ when it's something he can do himself.

My DH is handy like that too! It sure helps on the mechanics fees. Your flower pictures are so beautiful - I love the one with the chives and the hungry bee! Have a great week and enjoy your camping trip. I know you'll share lots of pictures of it :))

My husband can make some repairs on cars and motorcycles too. Isn't it great having husbands who can do that kind of stuff? It really saves a lot of money, money that can be used for fun things.
