We noticed that we have been going through a lot more bird seed this year than we usually do. We really weren't sure where it was all going...
We had seen this little squirrel around, but didn't think it was getting in the feeder. He looks pretty comfortable up there doesn't he?
Then we saw this monster squirrel. It looks pretty sneaky if you ask me.
It is! It jumps up about 5 feet from the ground and lands right in the feeder.
It will sit in there and eat the sunflower seeds until it can hardly move if we don't scare it off.

These are great shots! You're right, the first two look oh-so-sweet, bu the next, he looks like he's rubbing his hands together like those evil villains do! Too funny! Great photos!
Ha! That is funny! When we lived in the city, we had squirrels that were better than Houdini! How they got in our "squirrel-proof" feeders was beyond me! Now we are in the country a bit, and no trees around, so we haven't seen a squirrel on our farm in 7 years. Can't say that I miss 'em!
squirrels are definitely little pigs. I had to change where i hang feeders because of them here.
