Watery Wednesday!

Here are some pictures from our trip to Buttermilk Falls.
Buttermilk Falls is one of the most visited waterfalls in the Adirondacks. It is a short but beautiful falls (only 20 feet tall) that is reached by an extremely short, flat walk.

We thought this picture would give you an idea of the size of the rocks. Keep in mind that Chris is 6' tall.

Here is a short video we took. The sound from this short falls is extraordinary.

The last 2 pictures were taken just above the falls on the Raquette River.

Something about rushing water appeals to all of us. Great shot and video of the waterfall.
The reflections - very pretty shots.

I like the last two pix especially. I used to live in the East so your photos are especially beautiful to me. I love the coleus and what looks like a gold golf ball below. Nice blog! Thanks for dropping by.

Chris and Laurie, what beautiful scenery. I loved the sound of the water! Your visit to this area was timed perfectly to see autumn in all it's glory.

Also, your 'Halloween' theme is adorable. Such fun.
