It's About Time!

While on vacation we drove by this cute store on our way hiking one day. I told Chris that I really liked the quilt hanging out in front of the store. We stopped on our way home to check it out. We both really liked it and went in the store to see what else she had. While looking around, we found the quilt that we had been looking at online for 3-4 years. So now we had a decision to make. As most of you that know us know, we both have to really think about things before we jump into anything, so we left with nothing that day. After a few days of thought, we had made up our minds.
We went with the one that we had liked for years. We thought that this quilt could be used all year round more than the other one.

It is hand stitched with embroidered evergreens and pine cones.

After our first trip to the Adirondacks, we decided that we would like a rustic and outdoorsy bedroom someday. We both agreed that someday was here.

Looks like Chris has another project to start working on soon. (after hunting season of course)

Be sure to check out our post from Monday for a chance at a giveaway.

I love quilts. I don't sew so I really admire those who do and the fruits of their labor!. These are wonderful!

Laurie, so glad you decided to go with your heart. It's a beautiful quilt for you to enjoy for years to come-and then pass it along as a family heirloom.

Your choice is beautiful! Are you going to go with the pole wood bed? Good luck with the hunting, we haven't gotten ours. Laurie
