We were out for a short walk last night when Laurie said "don't move". I thought there was a bee on me or something. Next thing I know, she had the camera out and was taking pictures of the weeds.

Is it a frog hanging in the weeds?
We weren't sure what it was, but it had some pretty cool markings on it.
The body looked like a fluffy cotton ball. We were surprised that it didn't fly away with all of the pictures we took of it.

We found out on the web that it is a Luna Moth. There is a lot of interesting info on it HERE.

I don't know how cool it is, I don't like it when I think something is a plant and then it starts moving when I get close, ha ha.... I have to say its very unusual looking though!
