A Few Visitors!

We have had a few visitors lately at our bird feeder and in our yard. We aren't sure what kind of bird this is, but when the sun hits its head just right it is a shinny blue color.
I took this picture through the window of our dinning room. It was a cold evening. I'm not sure if they were eating or just trying to stay warm.

When they heard the screen door open they weren't sure if they were safe or not.

We have lots of these little guys that visit us.
There are a few other small birds that visit also but they fly away as soon as I get the camera.

We have a male Cardinal that visits also but I haven't been able to get a good picture.

This picture isn't the best, but it made me laugh.

We hope you are having a good weekend.

Oh I love all the birds! I don't know much about birds except that I love to hear them, see them and watch them - you have quite the variety there, don't you? Love the last one with the mowhawk! Thanks for sharing!

That black bird looks like a starling. Do they hang around in large groups? Do they all peck at the ground very hyper-like? Then for sure it's a starling.
Starlings have many voices too. They are known to copy sounds, like car alarms. I have heard one in our garden that sounds like a cat meowing.
Love the cute little sparrow. I adore small birds.

What a great bird feeder - no wonder the doves like to sit inside :-} Happy belated 14th Wedding Anniversary. Such a cute garden statue.

What cuties! We've got some tiny little birds with yellow bellies. They're so fast that I can't tell exactly what they look like :)
