This is how we communicate Monday thru Friday since we are working different shifts right now. The only way we get to talk is on our cell phones. We send text messages to each other through out the day and talk for 15 minutes every night. Not a great time, but as we have said before we are both thankful we have jobs. For the first couple of weeks Laurie enjoys having some time to herself, but after a few weeks neither one of us likes it. So, week one is done after today. We will have two days to spend time with each other. We may not be posting on the weekends because of that. Have a great Weekend!!!

That's a challenge! At least you guys have found a way to make the best of it with your phones. I would imagine there are lots of people in your shoes, working different shifts and never seeing each other.

I hope you're having a great weekend! Weekends are precious in our house too. I work 9 to 5 Monday thru Friday and Paul works 2:30 pm to 11 pm the same days. So we can sympathize with your situation! I am able to come home for lunch and that makes the days better. One problem we have is going to bed. I have to be up at 6:30 am to get Lori off to school but when Paul gets home at 11:30 we like to have some downtime together and that means we don't get to bed until midnight or so. Makes me tired. But soon that will change when Lori graduates in May! So hang in there. I think it is these things that make marriages stronger!
