Mazus is a low creeping ground cover. It tolerates occasional foot traffic so it is an excellent choice to use between stones or in a rock garden. It grows best in zones 6-9.
Spiderwort is a shade loving perennial normally found in open woods. It grows best in zones 3-10, and can be found in blue, pink or white.

That mazus is beautiful. I've never seen it before. I guess because I am in zone 5 and it doesn't grow here.

Hi Cris and Laurie, nice selection of flowers and you carn't beat blue ones they really work for me.Very interested in the Mazus, never heard of it but it is a lovely flower.Your dinner looks nice as well, funnily enough we are having something similar but with Southern fried chicken strips. With the chips we put cheese over them and put them back into the oven so that it melts all over them, delicious.
Could you explain what all the zones are about, as i keep seeing them but not sure what they mean. I am guessing time zones.
