We know you are probably tired of seeing pictures of our kitchen, but we want to keep you posted on how it is coming. You have to keep in mind that there is only one person doing all this work. (He is a perfectionist)
When we bought the floor it seemed darker than we remembered it being when we looked at it in the store, but now that it is down we really like it.
The base cabinets are in.
So is the dishwasher. As you can see on the floor in front of the cabinets, the counter tops are being glued together. (We will have to get some help picking them up)
The wall with the fridge and stove only needs the microwave installed.
After Chris gets the sink in, he will be taking a short break to do a special project. We can't tell you about it. Too many people read the blog and we want to keep it a secret.

Oh wow, it's all looking so terrific already...I love how the colour of the walls, floor and cupboards all compliment each other. That is going to be one kitchen that will be a joy to cook and bake in:-) Rather a perfectionist than someone who does a half a** job right? hehe Heyyyy, not fair, keeping a secret...you know how curious I am!! lol Take care you two! xox
It looks really nice! I understand why you posted all the pictures. I did that a lot when we did our kitchen last year too. You'll have a wonderful record of all your hard work.
