I finally got started on the kitchen today. I went to the doctor last Friday after being sick for almost 2 weeks and found out that I have a sinus and upper respiratory infection. (That Baby J. sure likes to share:) I have been on antibiotics since Friday and I am starting to feel better.
Here are some before photos. We were almost embarrassed to show them.
Can you say 1970's???
This was a quick fix that we did after we moved in. We wallpapered, painted the chair rail and stenciled the back splash. The ceiling, floor and cupboards are all original.
Not too inviting is it?
I have started on the demo and will try to update you once a week.

Hi Chris & Laurie:-)I'm back from my trip and trying to play catch up with everybody! I so enjoyed reading through all your posts that I had missed...all that bargain shopping the other day sounds like a fun time and you got lots of goodies for a great price!! As for the kitchen remodelling...good luck with that! You do such beautiful work, Chris, I have no doubt the kitchen will look fabulous once you're done with it:-) xox
