This -n- That!

Not much going on today. I finally got back to work in the dinning room while Laurie was at work. I will post some pictures of that tomorrow.

Since we missed the hour that we usually have with Baby J. last night, we thought we would post some pictures we took last Saturday. She was really wound up. She took a 3 hour nap before she came to visit, and she was ready to PLAY!!!
Here are a few more pictures from The Greenhouse.

Peace Lily. This flower was close to 12 inches tall.

Easter Lily

Amaryllis

This is a Japanese Shrimp Plant. Notice the white tails on each bloom.

Near the greenhouse there are cultural gardens. They have gardens set up displaying flowers and plants from different countries around the world. There wasn't very much in bloom at this time of year, but I bet they are beautiful when in full bloom. We may have to take another road trip this summer.

Baby J is such a little cutie...look at her sucking her thumb:-) My oldest son sucked his thumb until he was 2...no wonder he ended up needing braces! lol Oh those flowers are just sooo gorgeous...I had never seen a Japanese Shrimp before, how very fascinating!!

That shrimp plant is neat. I have not seen one before either.
