Softball!

I went to a softball game last night. My friend Chris "Milkman" (he works at Walmart in the dairy department so I call him Milkman) and my brother play on the same team. Milkman has been asking me to come to one of his games, so I finally went.

This is Milkman after he hit a double. A little out of breath from running so far!!

I had to take this picture so you could get a good look at his outfit!! I just love the socks Milkman!!!!

This is my brother Kim. He had a great game tonight. He hit 2 home runs!!!

Their team won 15-12!! I had a good time! I had forgotten how much fun it is to watch my brother play ball!!

Bloomin' Tuesday!

All of these pictures are of my climbing rose bush. It is doing really great so far this year.

It has outgrown the trellis already.

Hopefully it will keep blooming for a few more months.

Have You Ever?

We were out for a short walk last night when Laurie said "don't move". I thought there was a bee on me or something. Next thing I know, she had the camera out and was taking pictures of the weeds.

Can you see what she was taking pictures of???Is it a frog hanging in the weeds? We weren't sure what it was, but it had some pretty cool markings on it.
The body looked like a fluffy cotton ball. We were surprised that it didn't fly away with all of the pictures we took of it.

We found out on the web that it is a Luna Moth. There is a lot of interesting info on it HERE.

Jerzie's Secret!

Jerzie doesn't seem to understand yet what all this means, but she sure loves Babies!!! We hope she feels that way when Mommy and Daddy bring a new one home to stay.

Bloomin' Tuesday!

LUPINE

These are all growing in our garden in our back yard. We just sprinkled seeds for most of the plants.

Our fence is over three feet tall. Look at how tall the Lupine grew this year.

We planted this yellow Lupine last year and also a red Lupine. We haven't seen any blooms on the red one yet, but the plant is growing back.

We love the bright colors against the white fence.

New Driver!

We got these pictures of our niece Alexis in an email a few days ago.

We can't wait to see her cruising around in her new ride.

She sure looks like she is having a good time.

We took this shot the day we saw her driving the new Jeep. She really enjoys herself.
