It is supposed to get warmer this weekend. I think everyone in our area is more then ready for some sunshine and a little heat!

Coming Together!

This weekend we got a lot of the dinning room put back together. Here are pictures of two of the corners that are done!

This curio has four sides. Three have windows and one has a mirror. It holds my Kim Anderson collection.

This is on the floor next to my curio. I fell in love with this Raggedy Ann and Andy and I just love the swing they are on.

We put the attic baby shelf in a different area. To see the attic babies up close click HERE. I still have a few things I have to get put together, but the room is really coming along. I have to buy some picture frames for our family picture wall and a new table cloth, then we should be all set. We will take more photos when everything is complete. Chris is done in this room. It is all up to me now, so he is moving on to the kitchen this week.

Vacation!

When Kim and I were growing up, mom really didn't have a lot of money, so we didn't take many vacations. But when we did, we went to Florida. We always left on Easter Sunday and drove most of the day. We had family that lived in Florida, so we could stay for free.

Here is what the back seat usually looked like on the way to and from Florida.

If you look close, you can see Kim and I in the ocean. (our first time at the beach)

On one of our trips, we went to Silver Springs. It is a small amusement park.

Here is Kim with our adopted Grandma. (Aunt Irene ~ she was a very close family friend)

Here is a picture of our Poppy Bill. (Aunt Irene's husband) I'm not really sure why we called them Poppy Bill & Aunt Irene. Maybe Mom knows.

Outside The Window!

These pictures were taken at Dad & Mom's house on Easter Sunday. They have a picture window on one end of their living room. Outside of the window they have several bird feeders and bird houses. We weren't sure if the pictures were going to turn out since we took them through the window.

We really enjoy taking pictures of nature. Click HERE to see some other bird photos that we have taken. We are really wishing for spring to get here. As you can tell by the photos we had a tease of spring (for a week) and the trees are trying to bloom.
