We decided to clean out our spare bedroom today. It seems to be a catch all room as of late. We had enough. We threw out 4 garbage bags of stuff that we kept for no apparent reason. We also have a huge box full of cardboard. Thankfully cardboard can go out this week with our garbage. We also have one garbage bag full of clothes that we will be giving to a needy family that always appreciates our help. We filled up 2 boxes with stuff for our next garage sale. (not sure when that will be) The bad part is that we only made it through 3/4 of the room so far. We could have used help from TLC's Clean Sweep. Maybe not, my husband has a fit when they talk people into giving up things that have sentimental value. (Yes like our foot stool!!!)Saturday, January 16, 2010
WHY???

Laurie, there is a saying that a person should clean house every year like they are moving across the country. I've never seemed to be able to manage that. Looks like you are doing a great job!

That's what I need to do. Every vacation I always say "I'm gonna clean out the spare room" and... well it isn't done yet.

Good job! You don't have to throw out the stool, just use your newely found sewing machine and make one! I forgot to ask if you still had that box of shoes?!! LOL! Mom
Oh I am soooo with you on this one! I wish I could just empty the room like htey do and just put what I want back in - but the room's too big and too full and we have nowhere else to put the "stuff" right now - and I hate to do ti one piece at a time because it seems like I am moving things from one spot to another..We need a support group, huh? :-)
