It warmed up enough for the ice on the roof to finally start melting. We always get a little nervous when this happens.

Thank goodness a lot of it melted before it fell. Half of the ice fell while we were eating dinner, and the other half fell about midnight and woke me from a sound sleep.
Nothing got damaged this time!!

I'm glad there was no damage this year. My roof slope is apparently more gentle, and all I get is snow buildup not ice. I have not had to pay to have my roof shoveled this year,... thanks to our two well timed thaws,... whew! Lucky you and me, too!
