Is It Really Here?
Today turned out to be a beautiful sunshiny Spring day. It got up close to 65 degrees.
After breakfast, we decided that it would be a good day to get some outside jobs done. Laurie raked all of the flower beds out. We always leave a protective layer of leaves on them in the fall.
Chris decided that our SUV needed a cleaning, inside and out. The long winter really did a number on it.
We hope that you were all able to enjoy your day as much as we did.

Saturday afternoon we went to the cemetery to clean up around Dad's headstone and to get the Winter wreath and wreath holder. On the way home, we drove by this farm and the horses were out near the road. We pulled over to see what kind of pictures we could get.
I think they thought we were going to feed them.

A Little Face Lift!
Ever since we bought our house the vertical bricks in our fireplace have driven us crazy. They look like they were put in the wrong way. At Christmastime we have a Merry Christmas sign that fits in there perfectly, but the rest of the year it annoys us. Yesterday, we did a little project.
Chris cut out a thin piece of wood that fits in this area. I painted it white to match the mantle, and cut out letters and flowers with my cricut.

Hard To Believe!
18 years ago today Chris and I went on our first date. It was a double date with Chris's friend Randy and his girlfriend Leann. We had a lot of the same friends, so we all hung out together. Chris and I got to be good friends. We went bowling, to dinner and to the movies. We saw sleeping with the enemy. It is hard to believe that we have been together for 18 years. I love you more today than I did back then.
I love you Chris!!!

Gloomy Day!
It is very gloomy today, but it is warm enough that we have the upstairs windows open to get some fresh air in the house.
