Bloomin' Tuesday!

All of these pictures were taken while we were on vacation in the Adirondacks. We stopped at Marcy Field in Keene, NY to check the area out. Laurie noticed the Aster that was blooming and the butterflies were everywhere. There were probably 25 - 30 Monarchs flying around and eating. Some had just recently emerged from their chrysalis.

Happy Bloomin' Tuesday!!!

Gorgeous photos. The butterfly is beautiful! We have the yellow sulpher kind, and that is about all I've ever seen here. Would love to run into one of your orange ones!

Wow,.. great shots of the monarchs. I know Marcy Field well, I worked in Keene Valley many years. It is a beautiful area. Did you have pie at the Noonmark Diner?
